Job Overview

We’re pleased to share an exciting opportunity for the role of Account Executive, supporting some of our largest and most high-profile accounts. This role will report into one of our Account Directors and will play a vital part in the day-to-day coordination and delivery of client activity - working closely with the Senior Account Manager/Director and wider project team.

This position is ideal for someone wanting to develop their events career in a more client facing role. It offers a clear pathway for progression to Account Manager and provides the chance to deepen your impact within the business.

Key Responsibilities

As Account Executive, you will:

  • Support the Senior Account Manager/Director in the smooth running of the account, acting as a key point of contact for event team stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts, with a focus on supporting revenue growth and identifying opportunities to enhance Strata’s offering.

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Strata, ensuring our services are delivered to the highest standard.

  • Assist in the coordination of responses to client briefs and help manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Attend client meetings and calls (as appropriate) alongside the Senior Account Manager/Director and project team.

  • Participate in weekly Client Services Team (CST) calls and commercial workshops as required.

  • Work closely with project teams and finance to maximise the margin opportunity across projects.

  • Gather client insights and contribute pro-actively to the account planning.

  • Ensure quality processes and tools are embedded in all activities to drive efficiency and uphold high standards of client service.

  • Be available for occasional travel to on-site events, supporting delivery and client engagement.

Job requirements

This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Client Services Team in delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills and the potential to build relationships and identify opportunities to increase revenue. A solid understanding of the events industry is essential along with excellent organisation and time management skills. Above all you will be self-motivated, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines whilst maintaining excellent service.

*This role requires flexibility with occasional travel to events.
