Location: Onsite at client’s office in Coventry (Hybrid working arrangement)

Job Overview

 

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the team with coordinating and delivering a wide range of events and services for one of the world’s largest Automotive companies. This position requires knowledge of the automotive industry along with experience of working in either an events agency environment or client side in an events-based role.

 

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

Client Management:

  • Strong communication skills, with experience working with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority

  • First point of contact within the client’s office, representing Strata at all times

 

Brief taking:

  • Take briefs for new projects from internal stakeholders, querying as required to ensure a full brief is communicated to the Strata team and other third party agencies

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery is in accordance with client/brand expectations

  • Use agreed SLA as reference point for all comms and ensure both client and Strata team follows as appropriate

  • Attend site visits

 

Project administration:

  • Prepare briefing documents

  • Event documentation: ensuring protocol is followed (agendas, contact reports) and all actions are followed up by the client side

  • Work with the Strata and client teams to ensure key dates in event schedule are met

  • Organise status calls/meetings; internally and externally – diary invites

  • Maintain good housekeeping of server folders and files, ensuring all documents are correctly labelled and filed in accordance with Strata and client processes.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of commercial principles, ensuring overall project finance are up to date, reporting into the Account Director as required

  • Archive event materials post-event, ensuring all documents are labelled and filed in accordance with Strata and client processes.

  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the project, schedules etc as appropriate

  • Work with the client team to book and arrange vehicles transport for events following internal processes

  • Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of brand guidelines ensuring good brand guardianship through event – digital and printed, event collateral and branding

  • Work with client to ensure Strata received approvals and POs in accordance with company policy

  • Attendance at on-site events (as required)

Reconciliation and post event:

  • Archive event materials in accordance with client processes – ensure all items are clearly labelled and filed correctly

Job requirements

The successful candidate will work at a similar level within a marketing communications/experiential agency or internally within a client events/comms team and be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • Provide excellent level of customer service and meet specific client requirements both on site and location

  • An excellent communicator at all levels

  • Able to uphold good production values throughout project timeline

  • Monitor the quality of all client deliverables

  • Develop positive client relationships and be the main contact for event enquiries

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Strata and the client’s brand

  • Well organised and able to manage multiple projects with ease

  • Promote the sale of other Strata products e.g., Digital, Creative Services etc
