Job Overview
Working closely with the Project Managers, Account Directors and Heads of each trading division on all commercials
Working on client budgets with PMs/ADs
Maximising gross profit and margin
Job and client profitability analysis (including overhead time & cost)
Ensuring minimised risk on Foreign Exchange
Reviewing client Master Service Agreement and contracts and payment schedules
Running monthly finance reviews with PMs/ADs & client services to ensure GP and margin levels maintained
Use of Maconomy system to report on all of the above
Use industry knowledge to advise all stakeholders on best methods for budgeting, reconciliations, pricing, billing, (VAT) etc
Project billing
Project cashflow reporting
Developing Maconomy as a project management and reporting tool and looking for upgrades and enhancements where possible
Forecasting/budgeting all project related financials
Working closely with management accountant
Working closely with the Finance Director on all of the above to ensure best profitability/cashflow/margins etc
Job requirements
Essential
Events project management accounting experience
Solid accounting experience (management accounting)
Great communication skills – ability to work with people at all levels
Preferred
Part qualified with a recognised accounting body (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
Experience within events or similar industry
Confident and able to run meetings and deliver figures via presentation
