Job Overview

We’re seeking two experienced individuals to become trusted members of the event production team (live/hybrid/virtual experiences) to cover maternity leave. Applicants should have worked previously as an agency or freelance senior producer, and be adept in end-to-end delivery of full service experience design and production. This includes concept creation and pitch presentation to production planning and delivering with specialist partners for global brands. Projects include internal and external communications campaigns, global leadership conferences, award shows, new product launches and experiential marketing activations for clients across sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Brief, Proposals and Pitches:

  • To work in partnership with account leads and HoD’s to write the agency brief, develop a strategic proposition, create a compelling pitch proposal and present to our clients

  • Shape creative, experiences, agenda’s and content to meet client and audience objectives with our specialist departments in creative, technical, logistics and delegate management

  • Appreciate the value of brand understanding and partnership, working with clients and stakeholders to distil messages through event identities, onscreen graphics (PPT), video, animation, infographics and print

 

Event Production:

  • To successfully lead full service teams, delivering diverse projects, across client industries

  • Create experiences that maximise impact, leverage departmental and third party partner expertise and deliver ROI for clients and the agency

  • Develop compelling visual identities and narratives with creative directors, communications assets with designers, visualisers, artworkers and graphics programmers and tell stories through film, using storyboarders, writers, editors and animators

  • Partner with our logistics teams to refine location/venue briefs, delegate managers to co-ordinate seamless registration and technical department to achieve stand out stage, set, environment production

  • Ability to transfer skills and experience into the production of conferences, exhibitions, awards, launches, brand events and communications

  • Management of schedules, briefings, rehearsals and shows

  • To liaise with other departments within Strata to ensure that schedules and values are met

  • Liaising with suppliers – briefing, negotiating and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met

  • Appreciation and understanding of agency partners from technical to digital, exhibitions to print, fabrication to furniture

  • To remain up-to-date with new technology, content trends, design and creative trends and their business applications

Project management:

  • Efficient ways of working, managing actions, projects timeline and commercials through communication, planning and teamwork

  • Helping the wider delivery team develop an understanding of the client’s perspective to ensure a client-focussed culture

  • Pride in project processes, maintaining ISO9001 compliance and are streamlined ways of working to achieve optimum effectiveness and efficiency

  • Ownership of the budget, ensuring that projects deliver to scope, against agreed targets for turnover and gross margin

  • Mentor project co-ordinators to ensure day to day project administration is correctly managed and skills developed

  • Planning and management of resources for operational delivery of projects ensuring service levels are maintained to the highest standards

Reconciliation and post event:

  • Ensure projects are reconciled and information is passed in a timely fashion to accounts, for billing

  • Manage internal and external debriefs for the purposes of review and continual improvement

  • Help to develop client relationships to encourage organic growth of accounts

  • Knowledge sharing: as part of your mentoring role, encourage information and learnings are shared amongst the team from a technical, content and venue perspective

  • Manage the post event administrative process, including working with the Marketing function to create a case study
