Job Overview

As Talent Acquisition Specialist at Strata, you will lead the full 360 recruitment cycle, acting as the internal recruitment expert and strategic partner for hiring managers. You will be responsible for attracting, selecting, and securing top talent while enhancing our employer brand and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  1. Attraction & Sourcing

  • Consult with hiring managers to define job requirements, skills, and experience needs.

  • Design and implement effective sourcing strategies using a variety of channels including job boards, LinkedIn, and direct sourcing.

  • Manage job postings and ensure all applications are handled promptly.

  • Lead and attend vacancy briefing meetings to define recruitment strategy and timelines.

2. Selection & Recruitment Process

  • Oversee and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance.

  • Screen and manage candidates through the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring timely and constructive feedback.

  • Lead first-stage interviews and support hiring managers throughout the interview process.

  • Prepare candidates for interviews and act as their point of contact.

  • Ensure a structured, consistent, and inclusive selection process aligned with company values and capabilities.

3. Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate candidate and job data within the ATS.

  • Manage recruitment inbox and respond to enquiries efficiently.

  • Process employment-related documentation including offer letters, contracts, and onboarding materials.

  • Handle recruitment-related expenses and purchase orders.

  • Provide regular and ad-hoc recruitment reporting and insights.

4. Business & Brand

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Strata, representing the company at industry events and across social media.

  • Conduct competitor analysis and report market trends.

  • Support employer branding initiatives and internal communications.

  • Oversee the internal social calendar and contribute to culture and engagement programmes.

  • Manage the employee referral scheme and contribute to talent strategy development.

5. Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and hiring managers.

  • Set clear expectations and maintain communication throughout the recruitment process.

  • Develop and manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and maintain an effective preferred supplier list (PSL).

  • Support talent pooling and succession planning initiatives.

6. HR Collaboration

  • Work alongside HR on new starter onboarding and documentation.

  • Collaborate on broader HR projects including wellbeing, recognition, and engagement.

  • Lead on salary negotiation and offer management to ensure a smooth offer-to-hire process.

  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of HR policies, processes, and best practices.

 

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment in an internal role – knowledge of the events industry would be advantageous  

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Organised and able to manage multiple roles and priorities

  • Proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter to attract and source candidates

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Brand and culture awareness

  • Commercial awareness and ability to analyse recruitment trends

  • Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment

  • Understanding of HR processes and employment legislation

  • Strong working knowledge of ATS and recruitment tools
